Personality & Powers

Lemuria is a maternal figure for much of Isilendor. She is known to grant light and guidance to those who trust in her and whose hearts are pure. It is said there are remnants of her magic found around the world. She is forgiving and gentle, a strong opposite to her partner Tenebria. Lemuria has a healing touch, curing worshippers of ailments and relinquishing curses placed upon them. She is the mother of Lorelei, the sea goddess and the 4th born of all the deities, sister to Helios, Solis and Asmundis.

History & Events

Lemuria's story is little known. She married the Night God, Tenebria, for his darkness allowed her to shine brightly through the night. She was outshined by her brothers, Helios and Solis for millennia but continued to hypnotise people with her beauty. Much to her disappointment, Tenebria became greedy and tried to destroy her brothers to bring an eternal night.

Lady Lemuria fought for his forgiveness but couldn't argue the betrayal. To add salt to her wounded heart, Solis and Helios forced her daughter Lorelei to be locked away in the watery depths of Isilendor. Their distrust of Tenebria unjustly imposed on the young star.

The Moon Mistress lived a lonely life in the night without her husband and child. She spent each night watching the world as elementals disappeared and mortals were brought into existence. Lemuria dedicated her power towards couples in love, and lonely travellers lost in the dark. Her reputation grew among the people, gaining an adoration and worship she hadn't experienced before. The ancient realms of Eldathren and Delvheim showed their respect by adorning their sigils with the moon. The Beacon of Lemuria was even erected upon the tallest mountain of Delvheim, with many pilgrims visiting each year to pray for her blessings.

In 0003 NE (Chapter 3), she was reunited with Tenebria when the adventurers of Isilendor released him from his prison. Their love grew again but Lemuria continued to devote her attention to the world.
