Yes, I know you have knowledge of at least one thing that makes you look fancy. But there's no need to show it around, so much.
But don't show it often. It can be annoying. Do you know how many experts about wine I met ?
But if you want to impress someone, do it with limits. And maybe teach them how to do it as well. They can feel the hype of learning something new !
Make sure not to roam around, drunk and saying random or off topic sentences to the guests.
You don't be this weird one that in future they will have to think if they will invite you again or not.
On the other hand if you bring a present or some joy they can think about. Just be yourself
