The Tavern

The

Tavern

is where our friends, acquaintances and enemies converge for chatting, drinking and eating. It is the heart of World of Legends where you are first greeted at the door and welcomed in. There are many hijinks that occur within the tavern and even the deities have been known to spare a visit, amusing themselves with the quirks of mortal beings.

The

Tavern

has been known to change with events, adding features for unusual beings such as a tank for the Waterbearers, and perches for the Flugels. It is certainly a peculiar space, not your ordinary Tavern.

Here is an extract from "The Wandering Hag," written by Hesta Eisenhart:
"The Wandering Hag is the third reiteration of a tavern that has existed on the borders of Isilendor for dozens of years. It re-opened for the third time following refurbishments to its predecessor, and has since thrived as a gathering spot for people from all four realms. Its position in Isilendor makes it an ideal layover point for travellers, and its refurbishments include several brand new guest rooms."

- "The Wandering Hag" is owned by Hugrinth Trenholm alongside his apprentice Boe.
- It was originally called "The Drunken Drifter," run by Hugrinth's grandmother, Alya.
- The Tavern was considered a place of peace, a refuge from the war.
- "The Drunken Drifter" was sadly lost to a fire and reopened years later as the "The Wandering Hag".
- The Tavern was once host to a meatball eating contest, attended by the Overseer of Isilendor.

If you are in dire need of some food, once a day you can visit this Tavern for a free meal. All you need to do is go to "Isilendor > Rest Here for A While..." and a button will be available for you, granting you a full belly for the rest of the day. Be warned, many skipped meals will cause you to faint for a while.

While you're here, you may interact with the Forum space to create a topic, partnering with other players to create a tavern based story. You can manifest taverns all over the realm, in any town or village, or somewhere in between.

Under "The Marketplace", there is a Tavern where you can purchase tasty food and drink. You can buy items here using your In Game money (crowns, florins and pennies). The Tavern sports famous drinks from around Isilendor as well as local delicacies such as Caramelized Scorpion, Roasted Boar and the famed Mystery Meat Pie (There is much debate as to what this mystery meat is). They even stock an "Equestrian Loaf," the winning bread design Crafted by the bread extraordinaire Vanadey Sitara during the Harvest Dell festival.
