The Palace of Delvheim

'At the western wall of the city, the Palace of Delvheim is easily noticeable. The structure is built onto high stone steps and the towers appear to reach into the ceiling. Marble works have been used to make the building stand out more and gold plated stone decorate the foundations.'
~ Delvheim: Over and Under Book.

Found in the Cityscape, the capitol, The Citadel or the Palace of Delvheim. Within it, you can find the throne room that contains three platforms up along some steep stairs with water flowing on both sides. And just behind the throne, the room is lit up by large slabs of Luna Lapis. It is tradition that the Ruler of Delvheim would conduct their business there, official gatherings and such, though from previous rulers, they do not have to live there.

The Palace of Emperor Orellen

Emperor Orellen had started descending into madness, fuelled with obsession of keeping his legacy to the world. He grew tired of the City of Ortus and decided to build a new capital city of Akasuna on the Akanahr river. His goal was to build a true jewel of the North. Thus the start of City of Orellen.

While the Emperor was certainly wealthy, he didn’t have enough funds to build the new city completely. Thus he abandoned the Empress Consort, Almira, to wed his third and final wife, Lady Thialla Reydan who was the daughter of the richest merchant in the realm. The Emperor didn’t care for the outrage by most of the Empire, but it gave him the funds he needed to start building.

The City of Orellen was completed in 2032 OE, of which he had moved into his new palace, something history books describe as a masterpiece of gold and stone. The palace itself held many statues and stained glass windows. Of which many parties were hosted to celebrate the completion of the new capital.

The Stronghold

Each inch of the palace seemed to reveal small bits of the realm’s long and challenging history. I could have spent several days in the palace examining the beautiful art or exploring the many artifact filled rooms. But I had been invited into the palace for a specific purpose and knew my time must be held short.
~ Into the Land of Grass and Blood Book.

The Stronghold is a fortress for the Sentinels in Braitheld. Clearly this was built for soldiers than actual inhabitants of the daily life. The grounds had many training fields, that consisted of elite troops gaining part of their training. Though the yards serve as the primary spot when it comes to training the King’s personal sentinels.

Within the Stronghold, there is a palace hidden within. The palace had been built or updated by a King of Delvheim shortly before the Great War. The craftsmanship of the palace held a lot of uniquely styled tapestry, showcasing the alliance between the two realms.
