About Divine Arts

After you have come to terms with physical magic, you may want to consider embarking on a journey of the soul.

Divine

Arts is the 3rd branch of the magic triangle and focuses on powers of the mind, soul and the aether. It is considered the best resistance for dark magic since a strong mind can withstand the corruption.

With the Divine Arts you can get a stronger understanding of the Aether, the Void where it is believed magic is found. You will learn about the gods, and capture pieces of their power using the Tulen, unique summonings for diviners. Divine magic shows you power over emotions, thoughts and illusions. It takes a lot of strength of mind and body to master. At the end of the course you will earn the chance to certify as a Master in Divine Arts

Items for Divine Arts

If you have a Certificate in Divine Arts, this can be claimed in a loadout during plot combat. Your dice rolls will become boosted by the certificate. We have a number of status items available to win or purchase (in The Collector). Here is a sample list of artefacts that possess elements of Divine Magic enchantments
Note: (

Divine Arts

has not been fully implemented for dice combat yet but is expected to be introduced at a later stage):

Mir'Tyela - Where Eagles fly so follows the arrows shot from Mir'Tyela. A work of master craftsmanship, this legendary bow combines enchanted tree bark, gold, and eagle feathers to create a weapon steeped in superstition and mythos. Even its arrows, seeming to radiate light in all directions as they soar through air and water alike, are rumoured to be crafted with pure starlight itself. A mighty bow for a dedicated archer, let its light and magic guide you ever onwards.

Ivella ro Cinys - Ivella ro Cinys (meaning. 'River of Light) is a powerful ancient artefact gifted to the Goddess Lemuria by her twin brothers. Fearing the worst upon her declaration of love to Lord Tenebria, Solis and Helios crafted the Ivella ro Cinys in secret and presented it as a fan (the most inconspicuous object they could think of). It was by their decree no darkness would befall their most precious treasure.

Tide Turner - Just as the ocean is drawn to the moon, so too is the tide drawn to this staff. As the saying goes: "Mother is God in the eyes of a child".

Skill Master Comment

Here is what SM Bastaein Ylen had to say:

"The Divine Arts is a magic granted by the aether, the outcomes of which can be just as varied as the deities are themselves. You may not be able to summon fireballs and shake the ground, but you can affect the internal body and mind of others as well as attempt impressive feats that fit more snugly under the influence of particular gods.

Cast illusions like Lorelei, play with luck like Helios, look into the future thanks to time magic and Asmundis, conjure blessings and curses, read or manipulate dreams, or perhaps soul bond with a creature familiar…

Divine magic is as limited as your imagination is, and I welcome you to come explore it with me."
