A Troop of Troubadours
Troubadour Guild
Guildmaster: Hesta Eisenhart
Current Members: Kaleva Keirakath
In a traditional sense, a
Troubadour
was a poet or musician that travelled the country. On World of Legends,
Troubadour
s bring events and entertainment for all our users. They are beloved and recognised by their lilac-purple hue, helping
Hesta Eisenhart to arrange fun activities.
The
Troubadour
s are crucial for the organising of the Duelling Tournament that captivates our attention.
Troubadour
s need to be up to date with the Dice Rolling System and potentially get the opportunity to referee for a duel.
Dice Rolling System
The Dice Rolling System was first conceptualised by
Kaleva Keirakath, creating some of the first tables. With
Hesta Eisenhart, The Dice Rolling System has gone through several iterations and is constantly being tested and improved upon, with the help of the Beta Testers who have signed up for the Beta Testers Guild. The system is there to provide players with a structure to their combat. This is utilized in events, most notably in the Duelling Tournament and Deity boss fights.
Members of the
Troubadour
Guild are expected to learn this system to help moderate combat during events. Those familiar with Tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons would excel in this role.
French Troubadour
Those holding the
Troubadour
title on site have the option to incorporate this into their character. As an inspiration, here is a brief history of real world Troubadours, to understand where you may use it.
Troubadour
s originated from the south of France, north of Spain and Italy around the 11th century. They were gifted lyrical poets that performed in noble courts. Troubadour
s were a driving force in changing the culture of music and poetry in medieval Europe. The word troubadour is technically the masculine variety and female troubadours were often called trobairitz.
A Troubadour
was typically notable for original material and often performed by a group. They were less careful with their words, writing and singing more freely. Through the power of poetry, they enhanced the ladies of court, presenting them as highly desirable through the lyrics of their songs.
Where could the Troubadour
be found around Isilendor? That is for the Guild to determine.

- Your World of Legends username, the names of any alternative accounts you have on the site, and any jobs currently held on both World of Legends and other sites from the "World of X" community.
- Why would you like to join the Troubadours Guild? What do you feel that you could bring to the team?

After submitting your application, the Master of Ceremonies will send you a short task to do with WoL's dice rolling system. This will assess your ability to learn how the system works. It is not essential to know everything just yet, and you will be given the necessary tools and information required to complete the task. If you have questions about the task, please get in touch with Hesta Eisenhart.
Reminder: Before Applying for Guild Positions, be sure to review the Rules, Guidelines and Hall of Attainment.
