The City Guards' Watch
City Guards Guild
Guildmaster: Mason Harris
Current Members: Luna Lucine, Levine Clarke, Matt Dresden, Lyris Graves
The
City Guard
s patrol the streets, topics (roleplay forums) and chat to keep everyone safe and stop the troublemakers. They are responsible for upholding the rules of the site and putting an end to misdeeds. Guards can partake in topics in character when upholding the laws of the land. Nobody breaks the law on their watch, so you better take heed when they step in to defend the peace. They are led by the Master of Defence.
Patrolling as a City Guard
While performing their duties as a hired
City Guard
, the users have a great opportunity to do so in character. Throughout the history of World of Legends, City Guard
s have taken up positions in Isilendor cities or roads, as a prison guard in Deepfury Mine or as soldiers for their realm. Deepfury Mine has become a popular one, where in character City Guard
s maintain the prison with ferocity, and often questionable methods.
The City Guard
s have the unique permission to uphold the rules of the site as their character. Most often you can see topic warnings in the form of Out of Game (OOG) messages, informing of the error that needs to be corrected. If they wish, said Guard can enter the story and catch the character in the midst of a crime. If you see their purple names entering your topic, be wary!
City Guards Uphold the Law!
The Guards are now celebrating a full team! You may be wondering, what does it take to become one.
To be a
City Guard
, players need a strong knowledge of the site rules, especially the rules surrounding chat behaviour and roleplay forums. In order to keep the peace, World of Legends expects users to keep a level of respect and good behaviour so that everyone can have a fun time.

Which Rules do the City Guards focus on?
Community, Roleplay and Chat - The City Guards watch for all rules but their primary patrols appear in roleplay topics and chat. This ensures everyone is cared for while interacting with each other. Topic patrols also help to boost the quality of the roleplay so that we have fun stories to read!
Reminder: Before Applying for Guild Positions, be sure to review the Rules, Guidelines and Hall of Attainment.
