Elemental Enchantments

To apply an enchantment, runes are required, and these are broken down into different categories; Elemental, Buff, Attack, Defence and Divine. The runes determine what typ of enchantment we will get. Today we are going to focus on elemental enchantments.

Elemental runes are the most basic category, with a simple, physical arcane approach. In theory, any element can be applied to an item however there are only 5 primary recognised as Elemental Enchantments;
Air, Earth, Fire, Water and Lightning.
Ice, Metal and Light are also recognised runes but considered more diverse and fall into other categories instead.

When carved into an object, the enchantment can alter the properties to allow the following effects:

• Air - Enhances agility & pressurises and deflects anything that it comes into contact with.
  - Air enchantments can also boost air magic when placed on items such as talismans, staves or cloaks.
  - Example Item: Airi's Windfall


• Water - Enhances endurance & freezes anything it comes into contact with.
  - Water enchantments can also boost water magic when placed on items such as talismans, staves or cloaks.
  - Example Item: The Aspergil


• Earth - Enhances strength & will physically harm anything that it comes into contact with.
  - Earth enchantments can also boost earth magic when placed on items such as talismans, staves or cloaks.
  - Example Item: Elder Ring


• Fire - Enhances attack power & burns anything it comes into contact with.
  - Fire enchantments can also boost fire magic when placed on items such as talismans, staves or cloaks.
  - Example Item: Valikal Steamblade


• Lightning - Enhances speed & casts lightning at anything it comes into contact with.
  - Lightning enchantments can also boost lightning magic when placed on items such as talismans, staves or cloaks.
  - Example Item: Chain Reaction
