Attack Enchantments

To apply an enchantment, runes are required, and these are broken down into different categories; Elemental, Buff, Attack, Defence and Divine. The runes determine what typ of enchantment we will get. Today we are going to focus on Attack enchantments.

Attack Enchantments

Airi's Windfall is a longbow uniquely manipulated from the remnants of Evergreen. Much of its ornate structure was formed out of decoratively entwined bark, forever engulfed in brilliant pink blooms.
Attack enchantments have one goal; damage output. These enchantments are most commonly found on weapons, boosting the effects of the weapon. One could argue that Elemental enchantments can also double as attack enchantments. It is rare to find Divine Arts spells among attack enchantments, you are more likely to come across the Arcane Arts and the Dark Arts.

When carved into an object, the enchantment can alter the properties to allow the following effects:
  • Poison - Poisons anything it comes into contact with. This can be seen in the Witchblade, which poisons and gradually damages the target.
  • Metal - Makes the weapon more effective against magical barrier.
  • Shock - Causes the target to be flung away by a sudden shockwave.
  • Explosion - Creates an explosion when it comes into contact with anything. The Last Barrage sword has a similar enchantment but only can explode/shatter once.
  • Exceed - Extends the damage to all those around. Airi's Windfall can attack all enemies on the battlefield with one strike. The Rain Bow can attack up to 3.
