About the Archery

The way of the archer is a proud path. A skilled marksman has many uses. They can fell an enemy at great distance, feed their family as a hunter, remove a contracted target without being seen... Yes, the archer carries many talents.

"A good archer is known not by his arrows but by his aim. Archery is like a journey, it begins with a love for shooting a bow and a passion for watching our arrows fly. Whether you are a beginning, intermediate, or even advanced archer, Archery will give you something that's almost impossible to find elsewhere."

At the end of the course you will be able to acquire The Archery Mastery Certificate.
This certificate adds bonus attack points to ranged attacks during combat events.

Task: Roll for Archery

Complete ONE Archery assignment using ONE of the below prompts.
However, you cannot choose the prompt.
Message Victariah Rauxilfen who will roll a 20-sided dice (d20). The result will determine your prompt.

The Prompts

  1. You are incapable of even holding the bow, nevermind firing it.
  2. You accidentally fire an arrow at the Skill Master.
  3. The bowstring snaps your arm or cheek painfully. You lose control and have to stop.
  4. The arrow doesn’t come close to the target. What threw off your aim?
  5. You manage to snap the bow string... it wasn't your bow.
  6. Your stance is unstable, and the shot veers off. The Master immediately calls it out.
  7. You take too long to shoot, overthinking every detail, and the shot goes wide.
  8. The arrow barely reaches the target, dropping short. You didn’t draw the bow fully.
  9. You hit the target, but it was a near miss.
  10. Some shots land, some don’t. You can’t seem to repeat the same success twice.
  11. You strike the target cleanly, though not near the bullseye.
  12. You begin to find rhythm. Your shots consistently land on the target.
  13. You adjust based on feedback and noticeably improve your next shot.
  14. You focus on your breathing and release at the right moment, improving accuracy.
  15. Your arrow lands close to the center. Confidence builds.
  16. You maintain focus despite distractions around you.
  17. You successfully hit a smaller or more distant target.
  18. You successfully hit a moving target.
  19. You rely less on thought and more on instinct. Your shot is smooth and precise.
  20. A perfect shot: clean form, flawless release, dead-center bullseye. Effortless and impressive to all watching.
