- Majority of statuses can be purchased throughout the year, with 3 being offered each month. To see what is on offer this month, see The Status Shop
- Some statuses can be won via the "Knighthood" or "Knight of the Realm" you may have seen on others.
(Note: not all statuses are won through this method.)

What is a Knighthood?

artwork depicting a gold and black knight with a halo The Majority of Official Statuses can be purchased in the The Status Shop. However, on World of Legends there is the opportunity to win a status or Divine Favour by earning a 'Knighthood'.

The 'Knighthood' is granted to the person with the highest total of skill points in an entire given chapter (In Game Year). This feat will be recorded in the Museum, earn them 5,000 Crowns and the status 'Knight of the Realm'. 'Knight of the Realm' is an Unofficial Status with no power or buffs to one's character but holds the key to unlocking their true potential.

When that SAME account becomes the top point earner for another chapter (not in succession), they will have the option to exchange their 'Knighthood' for a Status or Divine Favour. The 'Knighthood' that year will pass down to the person with the second highest point total.

It is not mandatory to exchange the 'Knighthood', some users opt to keep it. Users are permitted ONE status via 'Knighthood'. "Bound for all Eternity" and "Therian" cannot be exchanged for 'Knighthood'.

How to earn Skill Points?

There are many ways to earn Skill Points on World of Legends. This includes the following:
  • The Skill Log - by enrolling in skills and completing lessons set by the Skill Masters, your graded piece will grant you points based on the requirements met. A fully mastered assignment earns 30 points once graded completely.
  • Observations - When users submit their skill assignments, their peers can grade their work. When fully graded, each grader earns 10 points each (as long as there is no disputes).
  • The Riddle Master - The Riddle Master offers a new riddle each day. Correctly answering his riddle will earn a random set of points. More difficult riddles earn higher points.
  • Writing Topics - Users can utilize the forum spaces to create short stories together in specific settings. Each response you give to a topic earns points. The more you write, the more points you earn.
    15-50 words: 1 point, 50-150 words: 3 points, 150-300 words: 5 points, 300+ words: 7 points
