Your data is one of the most valuable things on the internet, if not in the world. More valuable than any treasures you might discover on your grandest adventure. It becomes especially valuable when a big bad gets their hands on it.

Every time we use the internet, we generate information about ourselves:

• What we search for.
• What we buy.
• What we watch and read.
• Where we spend our time.
• Who we communicate with.
• What interests us, frustrates us or persuades us.

When adventuring in an online environment, it is important to protect yourself and your data. Do not divulge personal details that could put you at risk.

Not everyone is who they say they are. Always remain vigilant when conversing with new people in chat spaces or private messages. Some individuals may try to build trust quickly through frequent messages, compliments and special attention before attempting to manipulate others.

Multiplayer games, guilds and chat rooms can introduce you to people from all over the world. Remember that usernames don't tell you who is really behind the screen.

If anyone pressures you to provide personal information, share photographs, send money or reveal secrets, this is a major red flag. Report it to World of Legends staff.
