About Blacksmithing

Take on the rewarding task of forging a fine blade, crafting a helmet to withstand the blows of battle or moulding the chalice of a great Ruler. Blacksmithing is certainly a noble skill to possess. Every town needs one, even to create the hammer and nails that hold your home together.

Working the forge is not all you will learn, Blacksmithing also teaches the unique art of Enchanting. Imbue your weapons with magic, so that you may carry a flaming sword, a charm to boost your magic or an extra bit of protection on that armour of yours. Blacksmithing and Enchanting are ancient practices, handed down by the ancestors of Delvheim and Eldathren.

At the end of the course you will earn the chance to certify as a Master in Blacksmithing

Skill Master Comment

Here is what SM Jorg Farwynn had to say:

"In a realm where metal meets mirth and hammers dance with joy, a whimsical adventure awaits those brave enough to step into the realm of Blacksmithing! Aspiring apprentices shall discover a world where fire and laughter intertwine, leaving behind a trail of masterpieces and memorable mishaps.

With hammers in hand, the apprentices join in a spirited symphony, their every strike a note of mirth. The forge becomes their stage, and their hammers, the jesters, spinning and twirling in comedic unison. They swing high, they swing low, and in the chaos, creativity blooms like wildflowers in a meadow!

Who said our world was built by kings, deities and magic? Everything begins with Blacksmithing!!! "

Attendant Comment

Jorg's fabulous Attendant Felix Lopez had this to say:

"I became the Attendant because it is a useful class I have applied to in my real life, and I am able to go one-on-one with the class and the chance to chat with the Skill Master. I can see how the students take the chance of using their creative mind to make items by hand. I think that builds character in the items, as well as the character themselves. hahah.

I like this class because it needs patience. Me and my character both lack patience so it’s a great exercise. Along with that, it allows creativity when you are forging your own items.
I think both Jorg and the class are excellent. A great class to do some homework. "
