Description

The dwarves of Delvheim were introduced to magic when met with elven visitors around 3635 OE, where they originally thought to combine the blacksmithing trade with the arcane to enchant weapons and armour. Eventually, the dwarves began to harness their own magic through these teachings and dwarven mages became more commonly found around Delvheim.

To mark the growth of magic in Delvheim, The Mage’s Manse was built on the southern border of Delvheim, near the Beacon of Solis. It originally welcomed dwarves and elves and later allowed humans to join the guild.

Mages of adequate skill and knowledge but still pursuing education are considered Apprentices. Newcomers are named Novice Mages. Committed members of the Mage's Manse carry the Amulet of Balance. Members of the guild are expected to wear robes when visiting and have free reign of the training rooms, library and duelling grounds.
