The Akashi lindworm is the most common dragon species of the northern realm, due to it inhabiting the southern savannah instead of more impervious environments. Lindworms are very different from other dragons. They have no wings and only a pair of limbs. They have a very long body with a long tail, but their head is definitely the head of a dragon, leaving little room for discussion on what lindworms are.

Most common lindworms have green, dark yellow or brown scales, in the colours of savannah vegetations, and while legends speak about a mythical golden lindworm, there are currency no physical proof of such a creature existing in Akasuna in modern times.

Lindworms are definitely among the most intelligent and benevolent dragon species that inhabit Isilendor. Their wit far surpasses human’s and they are able to not only speak, but write and create art with their paws. This incredible ability is at the roots of a traditional Akashi legend, saying that it is the lindworms who taught humans how to write. While this is debatable, lindworms abilities remain baffling.
